Question – Describe the main branches of physical geography?
Answer -
There are four main branches of physical geography
geomorphology
Climatology
Hydrology
Soil Geography
Question: Geology is the genetic study of various types of structures found on the earth's surface such as continents, mountains, plateaus, plains, river valleys etc.
Answer -
Climatology: In this, the climate and its constituent elements are studied systematically. Rainfall, temperature, air pressure, wind, storm etc. are the main components of climate.
Hydrology: It studies the role of water in nature and human life through oceans, rivers, lakes, glaciers and water vapor.
Soil Geography: In this, the process of soil formation, its types and its distribution are studied.

1. Systematic Geography :
In systematic geography a specific geographical element is studied
The sequential method presents an integrated view of an area
This method is based on political units.
This study presents findings and facts

2. Regional Geography :
A region is studied as a unit with reference to all its geographical elements
The regional law presents a unique form
Presents the interrelationship between the environment of a region and humans
In this study, regions are demarcated, this is called regionalisation
