The Poetess Had Gone To Her Hometown To Visit Her Mother. On Friday Morning She Was Returning, And She Was Driving Towards Cochin Airport With Her Mother. Her Face Was Pale And Lifeless, Just Like A Dead Body. Poetess Was Pained To See Her Mother’s Face (Which Was An Image Of Ageing)

She Tried To Put The Thought Away. She Looked Outside The Car, She Saw Young Green Trees Which Were Speeding Away In The Opposite Direction. She Also Saw Children Coming Out Of Their Homes Happily. Both Of These Were A Reminder Of The Past. The Young Sprinting Trees Represented How Time Had Flown By. The Children Represented Youth, Which Was Full Of Energy. 

After Reaching Airport And Going Through Security Check, The Poetess , Who Was Standing A Few Yards Away From Her Mother Once Again Looked At Her Mother . Her Mother Looked Lifeless And Dull Like A Late Winter’s Moon. At That Time The Poetess Felt Her Old Familiar Ache. Her Childhood Fear Returned. (She Would Lose Her Mother)

But She Tried To Hide Her Feelings From Her Mother And Only Said Goodbye And Wished To Meet Amma Again. She Did Nothing Expect Smiling.
